The Founding Circle · North Houston · August 2026 · Cohort 2 invitations open November 15

A circle for
first year mothers.

Made to be remembered.

Eight gatherings. Four workshops, four socials, one season kept on purpose. Designed by a mother currently in it, for women who want a real plan — not another Instagram comment thread.

Four pillars

Gather is the heart · Keep is the takeaway

Everything we do lives under one of four pillars. Gather is the social heartbeat. Grow is the expert support. Keep is what you take home. Play is the baby-first joy. Four pillars, eight weeks, one cohort of women in the same season.

Pillar 01 · The heartbeat
Gather

The social heart of the circle. Brunches, picnics, coffee mornings — the unstructured time where the friendships actually form. Show up, your baby shows up, nobody minds the mess.

4 of 8 gatherings
Pillar 02 · The expertise
Grow

The expert support. A pediatric RD walks you through milestones without alarmism. A couples therapist sits over coffee. Real guidance, not panic-scrolling.

4 of 8 gatherings
Pillar 03 · What you take home
Keep

Real photographs across the eight gatherings — a petite keepsake trunk at the closing, select prints inside, the full gallery in your pocket. Out of iCloud, into the world. Something to keep.

Runs across all 8 gatherings
Pillar 04 · The joy
Play

The gentle kind. Sensory mornings, shared blankets, soft music. Built for a six-month-old, not a toddler. Woven through every gathering, so the baby is part of the room and never the problem.

A note on keeping

Pillar 03 · the photography promise

Most of the first year disappears. We keep the part we share.

By the time you look up, your baby is walking and the months have blurred. The earliest moments live as half-remembered notes in your phone — not as anything you can hold.

So we photograph the gatherings — real light, real mess, no posing — and at the closing we hand you a petite keepsake trunk: a curated set of prints from the season, with private gallery access to every frame on top. Yours to keep. Your cohort's to share.

this tender season TENDER YEAR · FOUNDING CIRCLE
Illustrated reference · final trunk to be revealed
i. The trunk

A petite linen-bound box, foil-stamped with your name, your baby's, and the year — small enough to hold in two hands.

ii. Select prints

A curated set from the season — the welcome brunch, the park morning, the closing — sequenced and ready for a frame or a fridge.

iii. Full gallery

Every frame our photographer captures across the season, hosted privately for the cohort — yours to download, share, and reprint anytime.

The hands behind the lens

A professional photographer, not a friend with a phone.

Our gatherings are documented by a working photographer hired for the cohort — documentary-candid, natural light, no flash, no posed lineups. Galleries delivered within ten to fourteen days. Every mother receives full personal-use rights to every frame.

Founding photographer partnership in formation — announced before invitations close.

The eight gatherings

Workshops + socials, alternating

A social opens the circle, a workshop follows, then another social, then another workshop — never two of the same kind back-to-back. Babies are present throughout. The schedule is the spine; the rhythm is the point.

The four workshops

The Grow pillar, deeper

Four 90-minute workshops, each anchored in a question you're already asking yourself at 3am. We answer them with the right guest experts and the women in the room. Babies present throughout; advice not required.

"Am I doing this right?"

Settling

Where the advice tsunami lands hardest. Solids, sleep schedules, wake windows, BLW vs purees, the explosion of opinions. We sit with what's actually evidence-based and what's just loud — with a guest who's good at saying "you're fine."

"Where did I go?"

Mobility

Baby starts to move into the world; you start to ask where your own went. Return to work, the body, identity, ambition reshaped. A facilitated roundtable, not a lecture — the women in the room are the curriculum.

Format
Facilitated roundtable — no guest
03.

"Why is this so hard on us?"

Attachment

The relational pressure peaks in this window. Partnership, friendship, the village — baby's separation anxiety starts; old friendships drift. We name what nobody around you is naming — with a couples therapist who works with new parents.

Couples therapist · postpartum mental health

"What do I want now?"

Emergence

The forward-looking work. Baby's personality is online; the toddler horizon is visible; your own dreams are quietly coming back. What kind of mother, woman, partner you're becoming. Closing ritual; final photographs taken.

Closing circle — no guest

The founder

Rae · founder portrait to come

I built the circle I needed in month eight.

I'm Rae. My daughter Soriya will be eight months old when the founding circle begins. I spent the first half of her first year running operations for a director-level role at a fintech, and the second half realizing that nobody had built what I actually needed between the postpartum visit and the toddler playgroups.

The casseroles stopped at six weeks. The mom groups were for newborns or toddlers. The "expert" advice came as panic-inducing Instagram reels. And the season was passing faster than I was managing to remember it.

So I built this. Eight gatherings across eight weeks, four workshops, a keepsake trunk at the end. Designed by a mother who is currently in it, for mothers who are currently in it.

What the first circle includes

Founding circle

Enough structure to feel premium. Enough space to feel human.

Founding circle · launch rate
$375
Eight gatherings. All in.
Includes eight gatherings, expert-led Grow sessions, cohort photography across the season, and the closing printed book. Founding member status carries forward — a lifetime grandfathered rate for any future circle.

The details

  • i. Who it's for — mothers with babies in their first year. Grandmothers and partners are welcome in the room, but the circle speaks first to the mother.
  • ii. Where — the north Houston corridor: Spring, The Woodlands, and nearby. Easy if you live or work north of the loop; a real drive otherwise.
  • iii. Format — eight gatherings across eight weeks, alternating Gather and Grow, with photography and baby-first play woven throughout.
  • iv. Schedule — working window Sunday, August 9 through Monday, September 28. Final schedule depends on founding mother availability.
  • v. Kept piece — a petite keepsake trunk at the closing: select prints from the season, plus private gallery access to every photo taken. Held in your hands and saved on your phone.
Founding circle · 8 to 12 mothers · North Houston · August 2026

If this sounds like the season you're trying to have, ask for an invitation.

Invitations are open through July 25. A short note — five questions, ten minutes — to make sure the founding circle fits together. Decisions within five days, a week to confirm. Made for women who are done pretending random mom-group meetups are enough — and who'd rather be among the first to shape this than the hundredth to join something.

Founding rate · $375 · future circles at higher pricing

Requesting an invitation does not require payment yet. A deposit will reserve your spot once the dates are final.
